As buyers gather for the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas auction starting tomorrow, the Henry Ford Health System’s Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute is eagerly waiting to hear the news.  At the auction, the final production of the 50 Years Limited Edition 2015 Ford Mustang will be auctioned off, and the proceeds will go to the Heart & Vascular Institute.  This important auction is part of the Get Your Heart Racing program, an annual fundraiser for the Henry Ford Health System’s Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute. Life in a military family can be difficult, we know.  Luckily, there are ways to make life a little easier – like buying a great, reliable, and affordable car.  And when it comes to purchasing cars, trucks, and SUVs, military families overwhelmingly prefer Ford vehicles.  Analyzing Polk vehicle registrations, an IHS Automotive sample of over 19 million military households found that three Ford vehicles were in the top ten of new vehicles purchased.  The tough and reliable Ford F-150 topped the list, and the Ford Escape came in at third and was the most purchased SUV.  The Ford Fusion was the third Ford vehicle to make the list, solidifying the Ford company’s domination.
