Ford Motor Company Is a Great Place to Work
This year’s Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards have been announced, and the results are clear – the Ford Motor Company is a great place to work! The Glassdoor Employee’s Choice Awards Program is based on the input of employees, who can submit their feedback through an anonymous online survey. The extensive survey covers qualitative issues, including work environment, satisfaction, and work/life balance, as well as quantitative things like pay, benefits, and more. 2015 Ford Mustang GT One of Car & Driver’s 10Best
Here at O’Brien Ford of Shelbyville, when we think “muscle car,” we think of the 2015 Ford Mustang – and we suspect we’re not alone in that! This beloved Ford model is a classic for a reason, and it seems that everyone knows it. Among those recognizing this remarkable vehicle is Car & Driver magazine, which recently came out with its 10Best list. The 10Best list honors the best of the best in new cars available for under $80,000, and once again, the new Ford Mustang has made the list. It’s not unprecedented for Car & Driver to honor the Ford Mustang, of course. Las Vegas is already preparing for the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The show, which is being put on by the Consumer Electronics Association, will take Vegas by storm early in January and showcase new technology and innovation for consumers to experience in a hands-on envrionment. And for the upcoming event, organizers of the show have selected the 2015 Ford F-150 as the Official Vehicle of the International CES. Ford Can Help You Avoid Collisions
New Ford vehicles are bringing safety to drivers everywhere, thanks to the ingenuity and hard work of Ford engineers. Available Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection will help drivers avoid pedestrian frontal collisions by using cameras and radars to help drivers. These systems scan the area ahead of the car and detect vehicles and pedestrians, sometimes before a driver might be able to. The system then warns the driver, but if the driver can’t respond in time, the Pre-Collision Assist will activate the brakes at full force, which will help reduce the severity of a crash, or even prevent a collision entirely. 2015 Ford F-150 Named Truck of Texas
Texans love their trucks, and what’s more, Texans know their trucks. So when the Texas Auto Writer’s Association (TAWA) names a vehicle the Truck of Texas, that’s a title that means something. Which is why here at O’Brien Ford of Shelbyville, we were thrilled to hear that TAWA writers named the 2015 Ford F-150 the Truck of Texas at their annual Truck Rodeo in October. Of course, given the hard work and innovation that went in to designing this brand new Ford F-150, it’s no wonder TAWA loved it. Ford engineers have created a brand new frame using military grade aluminum alloy, along with more high strength steel than any previous version of the truck. 2015 Ford Expedition Unveils New Variations
Recently Las Vegas hosted the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, a chance for automakers to show off some of the newest innovations in their vehicles. The Ford Company was no exception, introducing customers to three brand new 2015 Ford Expedition models. All three new models were created in partnership with lead industry builders, and all three feature variations of the Ford EcoBoost engine.
