It does my heart, and should the rest of yours, good to see that the rest of the world is coming together in harmony in their love of Ford Motor Company. We have been sending versions of our cars to Europe for years, and as I said earlier it has not only been going great, but also ready for a massive expansion.
So what’s next you might be asking? Well, Canada is now among those that rejoice at the chance to drive a Ford. The European version of the focus will now be sold in the northern cousin to the better part of North America. Canada however will have to pay the freight to have their Fords shipped over from Europe as we don’t actually make them here. Funny how that works out isn’t it?
They Make Them, They Should Drive Them
Canada actually has several assembly plants for Ford that includes individual parts as well as full vehicles that are then shipped down south to us where they are of course winning over the hearts and minds of their countrymen. The best part is as Ford spreads worldwide and conquers across the globe, hopefully we Americans should begin seeing even more benefits for being the loyal.
Down here at Louisville Ford it can be easy to forget that we are part of such a large whole. When you’re working with your friends and neighbors to make sure they have everything they need to get their work or errands done, it becomes almost comical to remember that that is what has made this company great. One should never feel insignificant when it takes us as the local level to make an international company possible. That mentality would grow across the whole company and eventually few people would even begin to tell you what Ford “was” instead of what we are about to “become.”
