As the year comes to a close, awards and accolades for the all-new 2015 Ford F-150 keep rolling in. From being named the official vehicle of the 2015 International CES, which we discussed recently, to being named Truck of Texas, it seems that everybody loves this exciting new Ford truck. Today, we want to talk about one more important title that has been awarded to the 2015 Ford F-150 – “Best Buy.”
This exciting win comes courtesy of Kelley Blue Book (KBB), a beloved and trusted resource for car buyers and sellers all over the country. This year, KBB held their first ever Kelley Blue Book’s Best Buy Awards program, meant to help consumers find the best possible value for their money when they invest in a new car. The competition was fierce, and the testing rigorous. Finalists were chosen for each of the 12 categories of the award, and evaluated by KBB.com editorial staff on both quantitative and qualitative criteria. Evaluation took place over the course of a year, and took into account vehicle pricing, cost-to-own data, and consumer rating, as well as drive tests conducted specifically for these awards. In the end, the 2015 Ford F-150 topped not only its own category to win “Best Truck,” but beat out competitors to win the highest award of overall “Best Buy.”
