You don’t hear a whole lot about Made in America sales being rocked in other countries, but Ford is really making headlines. Ford sales in China for the month of September were way way up over last year. Today we are going to celebrate that and be thankful that the whole world sees our value. more Overseas Ford Motor Company sales to China in this year’s September were up a whopping 54 percent over September 2011. That is just an astronomical number. When I was in high school, there were more cars in Los Angeles than all of China. If you really pause for a moment to think of that, then compare it to ten years later that amounts to a huge influx of automobiles to a previously near immobile country. Piece of the Pie Ford has worked hard not just here in America, but Asia and Europe are the two largest growth potential markets in the world today. European production on cars you’ve never even heard of have reached all time highs. Ford doesn’t try and make a product and force the world to buy it. Fall is pretty much here and that means there are things to be done. Something I didn’t know until this week is that Fall is the best time to plant trees and bulbs. Why I learned that is of course like I said before, I have bought a house. Wonderful news blog fans! On Tuesday of this week, I bought my first house. I know right! So we all know what that means. It is time to have us a good old fashioned moving party. Not Just Me Moving This time, as I venture in the world of home ownership, I also bring my girlfriend with me as we move into the new world together. Sweet I know, but not why I bring that detail up. The great thing about her being part of this move, aside from the obvious, is that between her father and grandfather, that adds three more Ford trucks to get my stuff from point A to B. For those of you who have been following my blog for, well since the beginning, I have never stopped reminiscing about my long lost F-150.
