The Ford Explorer XLT comes with a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower and is mated to a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but four-wheel drive is available.

Space and Comfort
